Access Control Reader

The KPROX / KPAD access-control reader and keypad are a family of compact products designed for secured entry points. They combine secure credential reading, mobile access, illuminated touch controls, and outdoor durability in a slim form made to sit naturally beside doors, gates, and entry points.

The project focused on making access hardware feel clearer for users, faster for installers, and less visually intrusive in architectural environments. The design balances everyday interaction, internal electronics, weather exposure, impact resistance, and mounting constraints into a product that feels simple, robust, and professional. The challenge was to make a technical security product feel intuitive, discreet, and easy to install without compromising durability or performance.
